JPO PROGRAMME

The Junior Professional Officers Programme, also known as the JPO Programme, is a multilateral technical cooperation initiative sponsored by the Government of Italy and implemented by United nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA). 
The purpose of the Programme is two-fold: a) to assist international organizations in carrying out their activities by providing them with gratis skilled personnel; b) to allow qualified young professionals seeking an international career to make a relevant experience that could broaden their chances of recruitment in international organizations or in the international field.. [...read more]

FELLOWSHIPS PROGRAMME

The Italian Fellowships Programme for Technical Cooperation Capacity Building and Human Resources Development is sponsored by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
Through this Programme, young skilled professionals are selected for a one-year placement in the field offices of organizations of the United Nations system. Before taking up their assignment in the host country Fellows attend a mandatory two-week orientation workshop, which is an integral part of the Programme.
