By the come of the centenary of Guido Gozzano's death, it can be interesting to look for him inside the Library. It is possible infact to consult there some rare editions of his works, like the original edition of La via del rifugio (Turin, Streglio 1907), or the valuable one of I colloqui cured by Franco Antonicelli for Tallone typos in 1970.
There are Le poesie published in 1964 by Garzanti with the nice introductive essay by Eugenio Montale, who is known to really like the poet from Piedmont for the geius shown in "making aulic crash against prose with sparkles".
In this Garzanti edition, as in the complete one of the Opere (cured by Calcaterra/De Marchi, always Garzanti 1949) and in the next classic by Einaudi cured by Edoardo Sanguineti (1972) there are the less known Epistole entomologiche, little poems about butterflies life between didascalic poetry from '700s and the metaphysical shivers by Maeterlinck. There are also the Sessanta xilografie per Guido Gozzano by Augusto Valenti, presented by Ernesto Caballo in a volume printed in Turin in 1970.
